Coupon : Karate for Kids : Mentor, Painesville, Concord
Here are questions that past students and parents have frequently asked.

Q. What are the Instructors' qualifications?
A. Certified Instructors are graduates of an intensive internship and are certified nationally. All Instructors are subject to a background check.

Q. Can my child start any time?
A. Yes, we start new students in every white belt class.

Q. How do I get started?
A. Before a new student starts classes, we schedule a tour of the school. At that time students receive a handbook, their uniform, and their first lesson. Their first class can be scheduled after the introductory tour.

Q. How many times does my child have to attend per week?
A. Beginners can attend up to two classes per week.

Q. Do all ages train together?
A. No, we have three age-specific programs: ages 3 to 6 Tiny Tigers, ages 7 to 12 Karate Kids, and ages 13 to adults. Each program is specifically designed to meet the needs of that particular age group.

Q. How long will it take for my child to show more confidence?
A. Every child is different. Some parents notice a difference after the first class! We work on building confidence every class.

Q. What is the ATA?
A. The American Taekwondo Association is the largest single-style martial arts organization in the world, there are over 300,000 members and 1600 schools

Q. Will my child become a bully because of the punching and kicking?
A. No, we teach self-control and discipline.

Q. Will my child learn to defend himself/herself?
A. Yes, we teach children to use confidence as their first line of defense. If that fails, students will have the ability to defend themselves with the techniques they learn in class.

Q. What happens after the trial program?
A. If students wish to continue their training there are programs available to fit everyone's needs and most budgets.
